I admire Tommy, Tamu and all the other street bloggers, but my absolute favorite is Bill Cunningham. I can’t start my Saturday without checking to see what he has snapped in the New York Times.
The side walks are the real fashion shows of the world. I become so incensed by the majority of the worlds paparazzi and photographers ignoring the real people with style and snapping photos of the celebrities “Du jour” as if that’s what most of us want to see.
I’m not into seeing people in borrowed clothes and labeling that as “real” style. My father was also a photographer, so I’m also into it and I wish I had his negatives, because he had photos from Europe and Korea of vintage street style.
