Turn up the lights at the metropolitan opera. why not?

Though Derek Walcott in “What the twighlight says” says “that being poor we already had the theatre of our lives”  it would still be nice to turn up the lights at the opera and really feel connected to what I am watching.  I starting thinking of this after one of my readers directed me to this video and that got me thinking of Kanye’s song seen in a different light.  What if it were slowed down, broken apart and really shone a light on?  For sure there would be an audience for it, just look how many twitter followers he has, how many albums he’s sold,  why not re-contextualize hip-hop rather than knock it or get bored with it when it becomes a broken record about how much money, fast cars and girls a hip-hop artist can get. I do agree with Sheikha Mozah on that note.

P.S I’d love to go to the opera more, and that’s purely my fault that I don’t so, the year’s still new, and it can be my resolution.

By turning up the light, there is hope for dream !

Hip hop, is it pop. ? music and dance from the street is so interesting and a political human mouvement. Expressing a condition, a performance by popart. Esthetic is not the main subject and the money yes … Hip hope !

Like a good meal, cooked with seasoning and specially hot pepper :-o
