Thinking of Egypt and Tunisia. Click continue reading to hear the song.
I wish that every human life might experience pure transparent freedom.
La lucia ! The light !
Le ciel, l’infini, The sky, infinity
Temple de l’esprit Temple of the spirit
Surpris Surprised
Par la simplicité de la colombe By the simplicity of the dove
Et la Beauté And the beauty
De l’armure argentée Of the silver armour
Du monde. Of the world.
Agitant ses membres Shaking its membres
Au dépend Depending
Des cendres On the ashes
Du temps Of the time
Eternel. Eternel.
Le Soleil, The Sun,
Noir, Dark,
Et aux faisceaux d’or Gold beams
Suggère encore Suggest also
l’ambition The ambition
Et la destination And the destination
Qu’il donne It gives
Aux Hommes. To the mans.
Malika
I’ll pray for the people of Egypt, and I agree with the song.

What a lovely, melodic and harmonious way of describing and calling attention to something so violent, aggressive and unnecessary as WAR!
If Bob was still around to see the atrocities that are taking place in our world today,i wonder what lyrics and melodies he would craft to express his frustration.
While i listen to WAR, however, i remain optimistic hoping that as Delroy Wilson once chanted “Better Must Come”.
