I’m currently reading, “Coco Chanel the legend and the life” by Justine Picardie. I’ve never read anything on Mademoiselle, this book was a gift and I’m finding it a bit captivating. Not called the Legend for nothing Picardie explores the numerous webs and tales Chanel constantly wove about her life. It makes me think of Louise Bourgeois spiders and her weblike quilts.
Photo:blue towel: Hermes, cannot tell you who made the bag as it has no label at all, I got it at a swedish design store and all I was told is that it is a replica of a bag from the 50′s.

I would love to learn more about the great Coco Chanel. Certainly I love the brand and all it has to offer (fab from a-z,now due to Karl’s help). But i crave greater understanding as to who Coco the woman was, what made her tick and how she created her empire. Another book to add to the list of must reads. Love the calla lilies and green anthurium’s !
