“her foot hot” these three little words could be heard around any St.Lucian gossip corner. Pat sho or hot feet is often used to describe women who get around. Prada’s spring collection seems to be all about women’s mobility and it couldn’t have been said better than with this sort of Icarus heel shown above.
I had the red/creme heels with the rocket booster in my office for the longest time (I’m a sample coordinator). I would always poll the people that came through about them and found that most either really loved or really hated them. I was in the really loved bunch.
in red, Sensitive feet/fire feet
but suppose confortable
in green, trees feet
both dynamic and unforgettable
Lol! I love it! I was born in St. Lucia and know the phrase oh so well, “Pat Sho”! That phrase was used very often by my mother to describe her lil tomboy who couldn’t stay put. My “Pat Sho” took me from Castries, to the islands, to Paris, to London and now settling down in Florida..for now until the PAT SHO take over. I grew out of been a tomboy but the Pat Sho continues. PS where can I get these shoes??? lol
You had me at BASIN JAMET!!! Love it! Love it! Love it! I will be stopping by to read more of this blog. Great blog…so awesome!
lol as a St. Lucian this made me smile as I was always called that by my family lol. “Ou ni Pat Sho! Dweevahyez!”
omg dweevahyez. I almost forgot that one. I was called that too.
