“The idea is to create thought through the mutual sharing of visions and points of view.  The Miu Miu Musings gather the fashion intelligentsia and key cultural figures to face each other on topics related to fashion, intending the latter as a form of expression, a representation of the zeitgeist a diagram of taste.  Due to its character of informal chat, the Musings let concepts stem as it was Socrates conviction from the seemless comparison and the passing of ideas between all discussion.”

“Women Frocks and Freedom” will be discussed next week at the Garage Center for Contemporary Culture in Moscow.  I will be hosting in a living room created within the Garage by Miu Miu.  Andre Leon Talley from American Vogue along with the Russian Textile designer Olya Thompson (pictured above) will moderate the conversation.  This theme was chosen for Moscow as I’ve noticed from my many trips there the tremendous pride Russian women take in their attire…

I’m excited to hear what Russian women’s take is on the subject. When I was there, I was exposed more to young female students on campus, some of whom were dressed to the nines just to go to class.

Interesting topic! The (fish) dress and the bag in the picture number 3 are really beautiful, do you happen to know who has designed them, especially the bag ?
