On the eve of New York Fashion Week, I found myself tipping slowly into the Uptown location of Miu Miu for the Italian luxury brand’s Fashion Night Out event with a very tall date on my arm.

    After watching your Self Service mag video, a friend of mine says that only black people can look so good in Prada…
    Black fashionable girls around the world have been waiting for this.
    And we should not forget that before Black Vogue we had Lisa Bonnet in the Cosby Show, Tracee Ellis Ross as stylish as her mother and many more…
    I AM EVERYTHING THAT COMES WITH BEING BLACK. Love that.
